Emberfall Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 10, 2026

This policy explains what data the mobile game Emberfall (Android package com.bighitcoder.emberfall) collects, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and how you can delete it. Emberfall is made by BigHitCoder ("we", "us").

Summary

1. Data we collect

a) Stored on your device (everyone)

The game saves your progress on your device: levels and stars, coins, boosters, hearts, settings (sound, music, vibration), your chosen player name and portrait, daily quests, events, chests, the Ember Pass and Ember Jar, lifetime game statistics (such as wins and power-ups made) and similar game state. If you are not signed in, this data stays on your device and is not sent to us. It is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.

b) If you sign in with Google

Signing in is optional. When you sign in, we receive and store:

c) Purchases and subscriptions

Coin packs, bundles, the Ember Pass, the Ember Jar and the VIP subscription are sold through Google Play. Google processes the payment; we never see your card or payment details. To deliver what you bought and prevent fraud, we receive and store the purchase token, order ID, product ID and purchase time, linked to your account if you are signed in, and we check purchases with Google. For the VIP subscription we also check with Google whether it is still active. Google Play handles renewals and cancellations; you can cancel at any time in Google Play.

d) Reminders

If you allow notifications, the game schedules reminders on your device while it is closed (for example, when your hearts are full, when your daily gift is ready, or an hour before a throne you hold is crowned). They are created by the game on your phone; no reminder data is sent to us or anyone else, and we do not use push notification services. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

e) Advertising

Emberfall offers optional rewarded ads (for example, watch an ad for extra moves). These are provided by Google AdMob, which may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads, to show and measure ads and prevent fraud. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, we ask for your consent through Google's consent form before ads are personalised, and you can change your choice any time from Ad privacy in the game's account panel. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. See how Google uses data from apps that use its services.

2. How we use your data

3. What other players can see

If you sign in, other players can see your player name, portrait, total stars, highest level, level scores, friend code, challenge wins (as a crown), earned achievements and title, your team and your role in it, damage dealt to your team's boss, and your Ember Throne points and rank (on leaderboards, friend lists, team pages, challenges and player cards). Teams' names, badges and descriptions are visible to all signed-in players. Other players cannot see your email address or your Google account name.

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with service providers that run parts of the game for us, under their own privacy and security terms:

We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our players.

5. How long we keep data

6. Deleting your data

You can delete your account and all data linked to it at any time:

Full details: Delete your Emberfall account.

7. Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Our database lets each player read and change only their own private data, and access to our systems is restricted. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, and to object to or restrict how it is used. You can change your player name and portrait in the game and delete your account at any time. For anything else, email us and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Children

Emberfall is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the game changes. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will also be announced in the game.
